Grocery store customers tackle man who coughed, spit on food

Customers with a grocery store in Kingston tackled a man who coughed and spit on produce in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, video demonstrates.
âSome guy at Stop and Shop in Kingston was coughing and spitting on the produce, he didnât last long,â wrote Kyle Mann, who posted footage on Facebook, showing at the least three men fumbling the creep.
âHe fought an employee and good customers took him down until the cops arrived.â
Kingston police said a 65-year-old man from Duxbury allegedly âwas coughing and spittingâ with the shop Saturday around midday noonday noontide, meridian, and then began to battle with staff and other customers.
The man was taken to be able to a hospital to be examined, though cops said thereâs zero reason to believe he’s COVID-19.
He may face expenses of assault and battery together with a shod foot, assault plus battery and destruction of property or home, cops said.
