Steve Ravitz, owner of five NJ ShopRites, dies of coronavirus
The owner of five ShopRite stores in New Jersey has died from the coronavirus, his family said on Wednesday.
Steve Ravitz, 73, struggled the deadly bug for 13 days in the hospital, his or her son Jason wrote in some sort of Facebook post by which he discussed a photo of a makeshift memorial for his father exterior of a ShopRite store within Cherry Hill, NJ.
âUnder the current conditions, this is the best that we can do to collectively express our anguish and sorrow,â the younger Ravitz wrote.
Steve Ravitz, who had patterns are released as president of the Ravitz Family Markets in 2019, commenced the household business in 1968 following getting work done in his fatherâs grocery enterprise in Philadelphia.
He as well headed up the Ravitz Family Foundation, which funded programs intended for needy children in South New Jersey, including Camden.
Another son, David, appeared as some sort of contestant in the 2018 time of year of ABCâs âBachelor in Paradise.â
Ravitz experienced five children and seven grandchildren, according to the companyâs Web site. He was a home of Cooper Hospital Foundation, the particular Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey and Crescent Memorial Park.
