Trump claims mail-in voting has ‘tremendous’ chance of fraud

President Trump reaffirmed his competitors to mail-in voting in a new Wednesday morning tweet, saying this process hurts the GOP around terms of election outcomes.

“Republicans should fight very hard when it comes to statewide mail-in voting. Democrats are clamoring for it. Tremendous potential for voter fraud, and for whatever reason, doesn’t work out well for Republicans,” the commander-in-chief tweeted.

Trump has been vocal about his competitors to mail-in voting, which has become more widely utilized around the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

Democrats in latest weeks have pushed for the increase in mail-in voting to help deter the spread of this coronavirus pandemic, specifically from the get up of Wisconsin being left incapable to postpone their recent major elections.

On Tuesday, this president provided another argument up against the practice when asked during this White House daily coronavirus agglom¨¦ration about being critical of this process if he personally voted by simply mail.

“Mail-in voting is horrible, it’s corrupt,” he explained of submitting ballots by mail

“Because I have to be in the White House I won’t be able to go to Florida to vote,” but there is a new difference between “somebody out of state and does a ballot and everything sealed, certified and everything else.”

Trump gone on to defend his place further, saying “dishonesty” existed around mail-in voting.

“I think if you vote, you should go, and even the concept of early voting is not the greatest…You look at what they do where they grab thousands of mail-in ballots and they dump it. I’ll tell you what. I don’t have to tell you. You can look at the statistics. There is a lot of dishonesty going on with mail-in voting, mail-in ballots.”
