Wisconsin Primary Proved Republicans ‘Will Kill People to Stay in Power’
Wednesday on MSNBCâs âThe 11th Hour,â former lead strategist regarding Bill Clintonâs 1992 presidential advertising campaign James Carville said Republicans would certainly âkill peopleâ to stay in energy as evidenced by the GOP lead legislature refusing to put off the Wisconsin primary amid often the coronavirus pandemic.
Carville used that premise to voting in addition to elections in the upcoming pattern.
Carville said, âWeâve got to be careful about is mucking around with voting. Theyâre going to try it. Trump, all the Republicans admit it, we canât win if everybody votes. So my kind of mission here in the short term is to sound the alarm to say Mitch McConnell and the supreme court, theyâre going to do everything they can to hold on to power.â
He added, âSpeaker Pelosi and Schumer, weâve got to dig in and make sure states have funding to conduct these elections and to put pressure on them to make sure theyâre done fairly. This thing in Wisconsin was one of the most awful things Iâve ever seen in my life. Just the extent theyâll go to hold on to power. It was all about one Supreme Court seat in Wisconsin. They will kill people to stay in power, literally.â
